I’m just sayin’: A garbage display if I ever saw one

Really? A man who aspires to be President (again) says “We’re like a garbage can for the rest of the world to dump the people that they don’t want.” Very unpresidential, very demeaning to those who don’t have the fortune he has, just plain cruel and bigoted. And now the President calls people garbage for supporting a man who calls people garbage.

And, like a clown, the one who began the whole ‘garbage’ debacle climbs into a garbage truck to mock the President, as if that somehow negates his own shallowness.

Is it too much to ask that the people who lead and aspire to lead recognize the dignity of every human being? Is it just me, or was there a time that there was some honor associated with this position? Is the example of leadership, service, and compassion we want for our children?

On the other hand, perhaps making the once noble profession of politics resemble Pro Wrestling it might get more youth interested?
